On Saturday I moved into my new apartment with the help of Sally, Nina and Sarah.
We made lots of nachos and salad, and drank yummy pisco mango and pisco sour!
In the evening Chris came over, and we went to enjoy the sunset on the rooftop. We came a little bit too late, so we didn't actually see the sunset, but it was still amazing to see how the lights in the city came alive, and the Andes mountain slowly disappearing in the background.
It was way too early to have a goodbye party, but it would also have been impossible to find a later day where everyone could come. So in that way it was a perfect choice, having it before everyone starts to travel!
The party was also on another rooftop, which is really amazing right now when the weather is so great. No jacket, gloves or scarfs needed. (Which I have been relying on since June..)
After one hour at the party I left to go pick Emil up from the airport. And I was sooo happy to see my musse!!

Champagne in my new building before we went to the farewell party! |
The farewell ceremony at U. Mayor lasted 3 hours, and it was filled with speeches, a long video about the things we have done here together with the university (and yes I was also talking in Spanish!), photo contest (I got 2nd place in one of the categories!), 2 girls singing " Gracias a la vida" and lot's of photos being taken.
And they really wanted Emil on the pictures even though I told them he is not a student at U Mayor... But then again, who can resist taking photo of this handsome man!
